转学学术建议

This information applies to incoming transfer students. A different process 和 criteria apply to students already at the 云顶集团 wishing 转移 a course from a不her institution.

一般转帐资料

职系要求- C-或更高的成绩可以转学.

〇社区大学 Credits transferred 从社区大学毕业 sh所有 不 exceed 60 credits.

非认可院校- To receive credit for work completed in a non-accredited college or university, students must first complete 24 semester credits with a C average (2.0) at UD. 

高级学分- Students must earn 38 advanced hours to graduate, 26 of which must be earned at the 云顶集团.

〇转学申请截止日期 Applications 和 required materials must be completed 和 submitted by the following 日期:

秋季报名- 8月1日.

春季入学- 1月1日.

请牢记以下几点:

1. Credit evaluations 转学分 和 dual credit are a review of the most recent college transcript received by UD, provided to the student after they have been admitted 对UD. 未来的学生 尚未被录取 对UD are 不 eligible to receive a credit evaluation.
2. 特拉华大学最多接受 60学时 从社区大学毕业 转学分. The number of credits transferred in对UD may 不 satisfy any 你在UD的毕业要求.
3. 特拉华大学最多接受 twelve hours of upper-division credit (i.e. 初级和高级级别 课程).
4. Evaluations do 不 include any courses that are listed as courses in progress.
5. Submission of your final transcript is required prior to registration. 失败 submit the final transcript of completed coursework may result in an administrative 被扣留或被行政撤回的.
6. Evaluations are subject to change upon receipt of additional transcripts or AP test scores, 和 the Dean’s Office will provide you with a final official credit evaluation.

Academic Advising for Transfer Credits/Dual Credit

Six hours must be taken at UD (almost always 文学传统 I & II. 文学传统 courses are literature courses with a strong writing component, 不 composition 课程).

The following courses may be considered 转学分s for 文学传统s 3 & IV:

• 文学-小说课程

美术-需要三个小时

The following are appropriate 转移 as fine art credit:

• 艺术史、音乐史或戏剧史
• 艺术史和建筑史*

Courses focused on the history of the arts rather than art appreciation are more likely 转移.

历史-需要12小时

• Western Civilization I, beginning to Reformation period*

Six hours of second-year language courses or the equivalent demonstrated by a placement 考试，AP或IB学分要求. To qualify for the second-year level, a student must 做以下其中一件事:

Languages offered: French, German, Italian, Spanish, Greek 和 Latin

Online math courses may be accepted for credit after the student has passed an exam administered at UD to verify the integrity of the online course.

Transfer credit for UD’s PHI 1301 Philosophy 和 the Ethical Life course entails having taken a course that includes Plato’s Republic 和 Aristotle’s 《云顶集团》.

Because of the unique content of UD Core theology courses, transfer students are advised to fulfill the theology requirement at the university. 然而，圣经课程 may be considered for THE 1310 Underst和ing the Bible.

The following subjects are 不 part of UD’s Core curriculum, but may still transfer.

*Classes typic所有y taken while studying on the Rome campus. 选择 participate in the Rome Program receive these transfer credits as elective credits. Students who choose 不 to participate in the Rome Program have the transfer credits 应用于核心需求.
